ELABORATE MORE/REVISE PAGE When I began my first quarter in this master's program I gravitated towards my comfort level regarding my technology skills. As I progressed in this program, different courses and professors pushed me to try out, explore, and incorporate different technologies. I was able to expand upon my technology skills a great deal as a result of this master's program. This program has pushed me to continue to expand my technology skills, as this will be useful and applicable to my future teaching career.
Designing a website using HTML
Prior to starting the Instructional Technology masters program, I had never designed a website. Although this was challenging at times, I enjoyed designing my ePortfolio as I learned how to use HTML.
HTML I used this website as a resource during the process of designing my ePortfolio for this program.I explored another way to present learning materials to students by using a screen recorder. This provided an easy way to present material in a comprehensible way to learners. By using a screen recorder I was able to display what I wanted learners to understand through visual and audio components.
I became familiar with how to upload files and materials I designed for an e-Learning lesson to a learning management system. I have used Learning Management Systems as a student during my undergraduate and graduate studies which has enabled me to see how various courses can be organized and structured. After using an LMS to delivery eLearning I have gained personal incite of how learning can be efficiently and effectively delivered using this kind of tool. I used Blackboard to deliver one of the lessons I designed for a course project.
